Shadi Khalil, MD, PhD, is a dermatologist and dermatopathologist who provides comprehensive care for a wide range of skin, hair and nail conditions. Dr. Khalil is dedicated to delivering exceptional, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
Dr. Khalil specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide variety of dermatologic conditions, including acne, psoriasis, skin cancer and alopecia areata. He is skilled in both medical dermatology and dermatopathology, allowing him to provide an integrated approach to patient care.
Dr. Khalil believes that patients know their bodies best. He takes a holistic approach to dermatologic care, working closely with patients to address their needs and circumstances to develop effective, personalized treatment plans.
Dr. Khalil is deeply involved in research, with interests in nutritional dermatology, immunity, and the application of artificial intelligence and computer vision in dermatology. His work aims to advance both clinical care and scientific understanding of dermatologic conditions.
Dr. Khalil is a proud member of American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) and International Society of Dermatopathology (ISDP).
When he’s not caring for patients or conducting research, Dr. Khalil enjoys surfing along the local coastline and playing strategy board games.
