Omar Mesina, MD

Omar Mesina, MD, is a compassionate and skilled obstetrician and gynecologist dedicated to providing comprehensive reproductive health care for patients of all ages, from adolescence through menopause. He specializes in full-spectrum obstetric and gynecologic care, including prenatal, labor and delivery and postpartum services. Dr. Mesina also offers medical and minimally invasive surgical management for a variety of conditions, such as fibroids, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and abnormal uterine bleeding. He is highly experienced in laparoscopic and robot-assisted procedures, ensuring innovative and effective care tailored to his patients' needs.

Dr. Mesina has a particular interest in childbirth-related pelvic floor disorders and is passionate about helping patients navigate these challenges with sensitivity and expertise. He is also proud to provide gender-affirming care for transgender and nonbinary patients, including minimally invasive surgical options such as hysterectomy and oophorectomy, as well as anatomy-specific preventive care and counseling.
