Dr. Scott Mercer specializes in pediatrics, sports injuries and skin disorders. He is a physician at La Costa Canyon High School, performing pre-sports participation medical exams, and is team physician for their football team. His areas of expertise are skin disorders, sports injuries and pediatrics. He maintains a special interest in imaging as a screening tool.
Dr. Mercer also believes patients must take an active role in their own health. Dr. Mercer continues to be involved in volunteer work and has published work in peer-reviewed journals. He has more than 30 years of medical experience and welcomes new patients.
