Joyce Qaqundah, MD

Joyce Qaqundah, MD, believes in preventive medicine and encourages her patients to make positive lifestyle changes to improve their health.

As a family medicine specialist, she provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. Her areas of expertise include diabetes, heart disease, obesity, mental health (depression/anxiety), arthritis, nutrition and skin conditions.

Dr. Qaqundah is an avid volunteer and has provided her services to numerous programs including the San Diego Teen Van Project, providing medical care to homeless teens. She is also a member of a medical team that provides care to people in remote villages of Fiji.

In her spare time she enjoys running, reading and cooking.
