A San Diego native, Dr. Damion Valletta is fellowship-trained in sports medicine and has been practicing since 1999. He specializes in arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement and cartilage transplants. In addition to treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems, Dr. Valletta performs comprehensive structural examinations to identify muscle imbalances, strength and flexibility deficits and early arthritic conditions.
Outside his regular practice, Dr. Valletta travels internationally as a team physician for the United States Soccer Federation and serves as team physician for several San Diego high schools and universities.
