Internal medicine specialist, Ilia Christy, MD, strives to build a partnership with her patients. Her practice focuses on the patient’s overall health, being mindful of the multiple other factors contributing to their wellness, including emotional and social aspects. She also believes that open, honest communication is the cornerstone of a good patient-physician relationship. She feels that listening to the patient and understanding their needs is the first step in providing effective care.
In addition to providing comprehensive primary care, Dr. Christy has a special interest in adolescent medicine and preventative medicine. She is a member of the American College of Physicians and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
A native of California, Dr. Christy enjoys all things outdoors, including bicycling, hiking, and horseback riding. She also enjoys traveling to remote locations around the world.
Prior to receiving her medical degree, Dr. Christy received a bachelor’s degree in biology from Stanford University.
