Srinivas Iyengar, MD

Srinivas Iyengar, MD, is an ophthalmic plastic surgeon. He specializes in cosmetic eyelid surgery (upper and lower eyelid blepharoplasty), ptosis surgery, complex eyelid reconstruction and revisional eyelid surgery. 

With training in ophthalmology and cosmetic oculoplastic surgery, he has extensive experience with the delicate details of the eyes, eyelids and the surrounding area. He serves as a member and an examiner for the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ASOPRS). Dr. Iyengar has performed eyelid surgery for over 20 years and adheres to a surgical philosophy committed to bespoke assessment of form and function to ensure optimal results from cosmetic eyelid surgery. With an exceptional eye for aesthetics and safety, he ensures that patient consultations are comprehensive and tailored to an individualized surgical plan to provide the best outcome.

He is passionate about teaching his craft, has authored several book chapters, described novel eyelid conditions and published peer-reviewed articles on various topics in oculofacial plastic surgery. Dr. Iyengar has performed volunteer surgery in over 20 countries and shared his experience and surgical techniques at several national and international conferences. He serves as volunteer faculty in Oculoplastic Surgery with ORBIS International and their Flying Eye Hospital.

Outside of his practice, Dr. Iyengar loves spending time with his wife and young son.
