E-Visits
What is an E-Visit?
Use Scripps E-Visit to get care online from the comfort of your own home.
E-Visits provide medical advice for minor conditions (such as a cold or a UTI) without having to go to the office or clinic. This convenient, easy and secure option allows you to share your symptoms and receive a personalized care plan from a Scripps doctor, nurse practitioner or physician assistant .
E-Visits cost up to $30 (depending on your health insurance) and are available to patients with a MyScripps account. It’s just one way to Get Care Now at Scripps.
How it works
How it works
Start your Scripps E-Visit by completing a short online health questionnaire. You’ll answer questions about your symptoms and can upload photos if appropriate. A Scripps provider reviews your information and sends you a personalized care plan. If appropriate, prescriptions are sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy.
Responses to E-Visits are available Monday through Friday from 7 am to 7:30 pm. Responses are sent within 24 business hours.
Access E-Visits through the MyScripps patient portal. If you don’t have an account, sign up for MyScripps now.
To start an E-Visit, follow these easy steps:

Under Find Care, choose E-Visit.
3) Select Symptom-Specific E-Visit
Review and agree to terms and conditions, then confirm your payment information.
4) Enter the reason for this E-Visit
Confirm your preferred pharmacy, then answer a few questions about your symptoms and how you’re feeling. You can also confirm your health insurance, allergies and current medications.
Once you’ve entered this information, you’ll get notification that it was received. A Scripps physician, nurse practitioner or physician assistant will review your any reported symptoms and health history, then get back to you and respond through the MyScripps portal. Your treatment plan may include prescriptions or recommendations for follow-up care. Prescriptions can be electronically sent to your pharmacy.
