Urgent care services

As a 24-hour urgent care, our team cares for people throughout San Diego. The urgent care is conveniently located for those in the communities of La Jolla, including University City, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Sorrento Valley, Encinitas, Carmel Valley, Rancho Santa Fe, Pacific Beach and Ocean Beach.

There will be ongoing parking lot construction on the Scripps Green Hospital campus through January 2026. This will affect Scripps Green Hospital and Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines, including urgent care. Please plan to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to allow extra time for parking.

Information for patients and visitors

Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines Urgent Care is inside Geisel Pavilion, which is attached to Scripps Green Hospital. Below you’ll find tips to make your visit to our campus as seamless as possible.

There are two ways to enter our campus from North Torrey Pines Road. The entrance at Scripps Clinic South Driveway leads to a parking lot in front of Scripps Green Hospital. The entrance at John J. Hopkins Drive routes you in front of Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines Urgent Care, where there is open and covered parking. The hospital, urgent care and clinic parking lots are connected.

Scripps charges for parking after 30 minutes. We also offer valet parking for a flat fee. Our rates are as follows:

  • First 30 minutes: Free
  • 31 minutes to 4 hours: $6
  • 4 hours to all day: $12
  • Maximum per day: $12
  • Valet parking: $8

Self-parking for disabled visitors and clergy is free. Visitors with disabilities must present their parking placards to parking gate attendants. After valet hours, please visit the information desk. Clergy can receive validation from the hospital security office.

We accept cash and credit card payments for parking. For your convenience, ATMs are located on the first floor of the hospital (near the cafeteria), and in the Geisel Pavilion lobby.

To help you find your way around on this busy medical campus, Scripps is piloting a new wayfinding service. This service includes photo directions throughout Green Hospital, Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines, Geisel Outpatient Pavilion, Emily Fenton Hunte Breast Care Center, Shiley Pavilion and the patient parking structure.

The service is easy to use with your iPhone, Android phone (OS 8 or newer) or iPad. No app download is needed.

As part of this service, you will notice QR codes conveniently posted at elevators and check-in desks. Simply open the camera on your phone or iPad, point the camera at the QR code, and enter where you want to go. Ready to come back? Just tap “Reverse route” to return to your starting point.

Note: Internet connection is required to initially download your route to your phone or iPad. Your cellular data plan may be faster than using the campus WiFi.
