Scripps Mercy treated San Diego firefighter Ben Vernon for stab wounds
San Diego Firefighter Ben Vernon, who along with his partner was stabbed last week while on duty, walked out of Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego on Friday and addressed several local TV news media reporters. Seth Krosner, MD, Scripps Mercy trauma surgeon, was by Vernon’s side. Vernon thanked his supporters, including the doctors and nurses at Scripps Mercy who cared for him.
