Funds raised to support new Barbey Family Emergency and Trauma Center
Several publications that highlight philanthropic events covered the 86th annual Scripps Candlelight Ball in San Diego. The time-honored event raised $1.8 million in support of the new Barbey Family Emergency and Trauma Center, scheduled to open in 2016 on the first floor of the Prebys Cardiovascular Institute. Honored guests included San Diego philanthropist John Barbey and former Scripps Health Chief Medical Officer and trauma surgeon A. Brent Eastman, MD.
