KUSI Covers Launch of Healthy Living Program at Scripps
Classes aim to prevent four chronic diseases that cause 50 percent of deaths
The kick-off of the Healthy Living Program for chronic disease prevention through the Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute was featured on KUSI’s Health Report. The free class series will tackle the 3-4-50: three behaviors (diet, exercise and smoking) that can prevent four chronic diseases (diabetes, heart disease, respiratory disease and cancer) that cause 50 percent of deaths in San Diego and the US.
The KUSI interview, "New Tips for Chronic Disease Prevention," is not available at this time.
