Scripps Cardiologist Named Among Most Influential Physician Executives

Once again, Scripps Clinic cardiologist Eric Topol,MD, has made Modern Healthcare magazine’s annual list of the 50 Most Influential Physician Executives and Leaders in the nation.

This marks the fifth straight year that Dr. Topol is included among this prestigious group.

Dr. Topol, who also directs the Scripps Translational Science Institute and serves as chief academic officer of Scripps Health, was ranked No. 21 and was the only person from San Diego County to be included in the 2016 list.

Earlier this year, Dr. Topol was listed among the 50 most influential physicians in history by Medscape and among the most influential researchers in the world by Thomson-Reuters.
