Scripps Trauma Chief Urges New Year's Celebrants to Heed Safety Warnings

Michael Sise, MD, longtime trauma medical director at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego, recently appeared on KUSI's 5 PM newscast to urge celebrants to stay safe during the busy New Year's holiday weekend. He also discussed San Diego's extensive trauma care system.

Dr. Sise, who is stepping down as trauma director, takes over as the new medical chief of staff at Scripps Mercy on Jan. 1.
