Wife donates kidney to husband, celebrated at Scripps Green
A kidney transplant recipient and his wife, who donated one of her kidneys so he could live — and was celebrated for it at Scripps Green Hospital — were recently featured on KUSI.
Christopher Marsh, MD, chief of the Scripps Organ Transplantation Service program, joined the couple to discuss their story and the celebratory Hero Walk program at Scripps Green.
