Scripps Physician Discusses Rising Cases of Mumps

Daniel Lichtmann, MD, a pediatrician at Scripps Clinic, recently discussed what causes mumps, including symptoms and potential complications, with the La Jolla Light after a spate of mumps cases in the San Diego area.

County records show 47 mumps cases have been reported so far this year, the most in the past 25 years.
