KUSI TV recently interviewed Christopher Marsh, MD, about two new proposed rules designed to help increase the availability of organs for transplant. Dr. Marsh reviewed highlights of the proposed federal rules and their possible impact on the roughly 113,000 Americans currently on waiting lists for organ transplants. Dr. Marsh serves as division chief of the Scripps Center for Organ Transplantation at Scripps Green Hospital and is also a physician with Scripps Clinic.
