A news report recently distributed nationally by Ivanhoe Broadcast News featured Scripps Health’s participation in a clinical trial testing a new implanted device used to repair faulty tricuspid valve in the heart.
Scripps Clinic interventional cardiologist Curtiss Stinis, MD, was the first doctor in San Diego to perform the minimally invasive procedure on a patient, who experienced immediate benefits from the implant.
