Free public educational event planned on Nov. 8
November is national lung cancer awareness month and KUSI News interviewed Samir Makani, MD, about a screening program to help detect the disease early. The Jana Oliphant Hackett Lung Cancer Screening Program at Scripps Cancer Center offers a comprehensive approach to screen high-risk individuals. A free public educational event about the program is planned on Nov. 8 from 9 am to noon at Scripps Medical Center Jefferson in Oceanside, CA.
