Biography
Internal medicine physician Yuan Shao, MD, provides comprehensive primary care for adults 18 and older, focusing on prevention, health maintenance and management of acute and chronic conditions. She specializes in geriatric medicine and enjoys developing strong relationships with her patients and making a positive impact in the lives of older adults, and their families and caregivers.
Dr. Shao incorporates a multidisciplinary approach to healthy aging to prevent and manage complex conditions experienced by older patients, such as dementia, frailty syndrome and falls. She also is experienced in thoughtful monitoring and reviewing of diverse medication needs for patients who take multiple medications.
As well as her medical degree, Dr. Shao received a doctorate in biology in China. Outside of the office, she enjoys cooking and painting.
