Austin Robinson, MD, is a cardiologist and multi-modality cardiovascular imager who treats patients across the spectrum of cardiovascular health and disease. Dr. Robinson has a special interest in pericardial disease and directs research in cardiac MRI at Scripps.
A native of Southern California who has watched both grandfathers go through cardiac surgery, Dr. Robinson is passionate about taking a collaborative approach to preventing and treating cardiovascular disease. Crafting a management plan is crucially dependent on a trusting relationship between patient and care team.
Dr. Robinson enjoys spending his free time with his wife trying to grow avocado plants and playing Legos with his young children.
