Michelle Higginson, MD

Dr. Higginson values time spent with patients and views medicine as an opportunity to help others while nurturing positive change in the community.

Dr. Higginson has been with Scripps since 1999. She has worked both in the hospital and outpatient medical offices. She currently serves as the associate director of medical education at Scripps Mercy San Diego and is the Transitional Year Residency Program director.

Her interests include running, traveling and spending time with her husband and children.
