Internist Melissa Le Roux, MD, provides comprehensive, compassionate primary care services for adults 18 and older, focusing on preventive, evidence-based care. Dr. Le Roux has expertise in sports medicine and musculoskeletal medicine. She enjoys using point-of-care ultrasound in her practice for diagnostics as well as procedural guidance.
Her medical interests are wide-ranging, but she has a particular interest in women’s health, including contraceptive care and bone health. She also enjoys LGBTQ care, medical education and teaching.
Dr. Le Roux enjoys developing long-term relationships with patients, taking into account their preferences, values and beliefs to engage in shared decision making.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Le Roux is an avid surfer, runner and cyclist. She also enjoys traveling.
