As a hospitalist, Parham Khanbolooki, MD, believes that the best patient care occurs in a setting that emphasizes clinical education for patients with respect to the aspects of disease manifestation, treatment options, prognosis, as well as secondary prevention strategies.
He diagnoses and treats all types of diseases and medical conditions in adults within the inpatient setting. He also serves in providing medical co-management for patients who are primarily being cared for by surgical subspecialists.
In addition, he has a special interest in promoting excellence in graduate medical education by educating Scripps Clinic and Scripps Green Hospital residents and trainees with a special focus on bedside clinical teaching and evaluation.
When he’s not caring for patients or mentoring residents, Dr. Khanbolooki enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending time with his friends and family.
