Biography
Andrew Camp, MD, is an ophthalmologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating glaucoma in adults and children. He offers a variety of advanced medical and surgical treatments, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), glaucoma drainage devices, trabeculectomy, and laser procedures like selective laser trabeculoplasty and laser peripheral iridotomy. Dr. Camp also provides expert care for patients with cataracts, performing cataract surgery with options for standard and premium lens implants, including toric and multifocal lenses, to help patients achieve their best possible vision.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Camp is passionate about advancing the field of ophthalmology through research and education. His work focuses on developing new ways to measure intraocular pressure, personalizing glaucoma treatments and improving eye care access in underserved communities. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed research articles, presented his findings at national conferences, and contributed to clinical trials on innovative drugs and devices. As an educator, Dr. Camp has earned multiple awards for his dedication to teaching medical students, residents and fellows.
