James (Jim) Johnson, PA, is a physician assistant who specializes in the care of hepatology patients with both acute and chronic liver disease. He treats patients with metabolic associated steatosis and steatohepatitis, alcohol associated liver disease, viral hepatitis, and autoimmune related liver diseases. He also manages complications of cirrhosis and treats patients who require or have undergone transplants alongside a team of hepatologists to provide an individualized care plan for every patient.
Jim enjoys collaborating with his patients on a course of action to improve and maintain their liver health. He is committed to delivering high quality, evidence-based, compassionate care in effort to improve and sustain his patients' quality of life and independence.
In his spare time, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter often at the beach or on a run with his dog.
