Biography
Mark Tucker, MD, is an allergist and immunologist who has been practicing medicine since 1997. He has been dedicated to diagnosing and treating allergy and immunology conditions since 2007. Dr. Tucker’s clinical expertise includes environmental allergies, food allergies, medication allergies, venom allergies, asthma, hives, eczema and contact dermatitis, among other conditions. He is committed to helping patients achieve relief from these conditions through personalized and compassionate care.
Dr. Tucker’s medical journey has been enriched by his diverse experience, including practicing both in and outside of the military. During his time in the military, he had the unique opportunity to care for patients in Japan, which broadened his perspective and strengthened his ability to connect with individuals from various backgrounds.
Dr. Tucker’s philosophy of care centers on listening to each patient’s story with an open mind. He believes that understanding a patient’s experience is the foundation for providing meaningful care and addressing their needs. His investigative approach to allergy and immunology reflects his fascination with the unknowns in the field, making him an engaged and thoughtful provider.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Tucker has contributed to the medical community by publishing articles and speaking on topics related to allergy and immunology, most recently focusing on penicillin allergy. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the Western Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (WSAAI).
Outside of medicine, Dr. Tucker enjoys the outdoors and stays active through running, hiking, biking, paddleboarding, skiing and golfing. His love for nature and adventure mirrors his energetic approach to life and work.
