Mayra Sanchez, MD

As an internal medicine specialist, Mayra E. Sanchez, MD, primarily focuses on hospice and palliative care, including pediatric palliative and hospice care.

Dr. Sanchez strives to provide exceptional palliative medicine and hospice services to patients and their families. She believes in addressing whole-person care at every stage of life. This includes compassionate communication and a team approach. Additionally, she has a special interest in working with underserved communities.

A teacher at heart, she hopes to be a role model for students and residents. She enjoys teaching about hospice and palliative medicine within the hospital, the local community and internationally.

When she is not at the bedside, she enjoys dancing, traveling, hiking and yoga.
