Biography

As a vascular surgeon, Ankur Chandra, MD, has expertise in open and endovascular treatment of complex aortic and carotid artery disease, as well as endovascular treatment of all aspects of peripheral artery disease (PAD). In addition, he treats the full spectrum of venous disorders, including varicose veins and deep vein thrombosis (DVT).


Dr. Chandra’s research is focused on biomedical engineering and novel medical device design. He is also a patent holder for new device concepts and is continuously focused on the design of new devices.


He believes that optimal care is delivered through a strong patient-surgeon partnership, with the goal of providing treatment based on patients’ personal priorities and beliefs.


Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children. He also likes to fish and brew beer.
