Joshua Alexander, DO, is a neurologist with a special interest in the application of non-invasive, osteopathic manipulation for neurological disease. He cares for patients with conditions including tinnitus (ringing in the ears), headache, movement disorders, stroke, seizures, carpal tunnel syndrome, neuropathy, vertigo, dementia and concussion. He believes in a hands-on approach to finding biomechanical causes to patient conditions combined with the use of medications, physical therapy and integrative approaches.
Dr. Alexander has focused his research on the application of osteopathic manipulative techniques to neurological disease such as headache after concussion and certain forms of tinnitus.
Dr. Alexander is a two-time, back-to-back winner of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation award for humanism in medicine. He has won several awards for being an outstanding resident and teacher.
