Scripps Expert Discusses New Drug to Treat Type 2 Diabetes

Athena Philis-Tsimikas, MD, corporate vice president of Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute, recently discussed with 10 News a promising new diabetes drug that an FDA panel is recommending for approval. Scripps is one of the clinical trial sites for the oral version of this new drug known as semaglutide.
