Study shows BMI alone cannot predict obesity-related illnesses

Ken Fujioka, MD, a weight management specialist at Scripps Clinic, recently commented on a study that showed that Body Mass Index (BMI) alone is not the best predictor of obesity-related problems. BMI determines obesity but adding metabolic and genetic information allow for a better prediction.
