National diabetes education program features Project Dulce
Athena Philis-Tsimikas, MD, corporate vice president of the Scripps Whittier Diabetes Institute, recently discussed a texting program that has been successful helping Latino patients with Type 2 diabetes manage their condition.
Dr. Tsimikas highlighted the benefits of the texting program — part of Project Dulce at Scripps — on the Diabetes Discovery and Practice Blog, a feature of the National Diabetes Education Program.
