Sara Kim, MD

Sara Kim, MD, is a general surgeon who specializes in breast cancer. Dr. Kim’s clinical interests include surgical treatment of breast cancer, high-risk breast disease, gene mutations related to breast cancer risk and high-risk breast lesions requiring surgery. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals.

Dr. Kim believes that treating breast cancer patients requires teamwork and coordination between multiple specialties to provide the best possible care individualized to each patient. Her goal as part of this team is not only to treat and cure breast cancer, but also to maintain the patient’s quality of life. 

In her free time, Dr. Kim enjoys the company of friends and family as well as activities including fishing, surfing, snowboarding and traveling.
