Biography

George Delgado, MD, FAAFP practices at Culture of Life Family Health Care, where he and his staff strive to provide the highest quality of personalized medical care, always respecting the sanctity of the gift of human life.


Dr. Delgado welcomes patients of all ages, from infants to seniors. He offers prenatal care to low-risk obstetric patients who deliver at Scripps Mercy Hospital. Dr. Delgado seeks to establish a partnership with patients and their families to serve them as a healer, educator, advisor and supporter.


Dr. Delgado’s special interests include NaPro Technology, bioethics, skin surgery and behavioral health. He and his staff are available to help women and families in difficult pregnancy circumstances, and are fluent in Spanish.


Dr. Delgado received his undergraduate degree at St. Mary’s College of California where he graduated summa cum laude and received the biology department’s top honor — the Carlos Freitas Award. He attended medical school and completed his residency training in California.


Dr. Delgado is a voluntary associate professor in the department of Family and Preventive Medicine at the UCSD School of Medicine. He has given numerous presentations to various groups on medical and bioethical topics.
