Biography

Pranjali Sharma, MD, is an endocrinologist whose clinical interests include diabetes management, obesity medicine and disorders that affect the thyroid, adrenal and pituitary glands. She takes a “more is better” approach to care when discussing how medical conditions may affect her patients, simplifying complicated medical jargon so that patients are better able to understand their medical condition and the management plan.

Dr. Sharma believes that allopathic medicine is in an exciting age, with new technology and therapy options, and strives to present the most appropriate and new disease management choices to her patients.

Dr. Sharma’s research focuses on thyroid disorders, particularly thyroid nodule management.

She has published articles in and served on the editorial boards of peer-reviewed journals, presented at conferences and mentored peers and trainees in endocrinology.

When she is not working, Dr. Sharma enjoys hiking, kayaking, taking road trips, visiting national parks, exploring new restaurants and dancing for exercise.
