Biography
Dr. Salami received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree in biology cum laude from the University of California San Diego. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of California Irvine Medical Center, where he completed a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine and served as chief fellow. Dr. Salami also completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles.
Dr. Salami has served or currently holds leadership positions including director of interventional cardiology at Scripps Mercy Hospital.
Certified in internal medicine, Dr. Salami is a member of several professional societies including the American College of Cardiology and the American Medical Association. His hobbies include golf and skiing.
