Biography

Reza Shirazi, MD, is a radiation oncologist whose specific areas of expertise and interest include prostate, breast, pancreas, gastrointestinal and brain tumors. Dr. Shirazi aims to treat each patient as if they were his own family, providing cutting-edge treatments with compassion. 


He is trained in the use of CyberKnife stereotactic radiosurgery, radioactive seed implants for prostate cancer, intensity modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) and image guided radiotherapy (IGRT). 


Dr. Shirazi has been recognized as one of San Diego's Top Doctors by the San Diego Medical Society and San Diego Magazine in 2010, 2014 and 2016. He has been published in several peer-reviewed publications.


Outside of his practice, Dr. Shirazi enjoys spending time with his family and traveling the world.
