Schedule visits, get virtual care, view results and pay bills
When you choose Scripps during this year’s open enrollment period, your care is just a click away with the MyScripps patient portal and mobile app.
With MyScripps, you can easily schedule appointments, find same-day care options, pay bills, view test results and access virtual care options.
“MyScripps lets you manage your own care whenever and wherever it’s most convenient for you without calling the office,” says David Wetherhold, MD, Scripps chief medical information officer for ambulatory care, and an internal medicine physician at Scripps Clinic. “MyScripps makes it easier for patients to stay connected and on track with their health.”
Get same-day care with MyScripps video visits
Telemedicine options include on-demand video visits with a Scripps Clinic or Scripps Coastal Medical Center primary care doctor or with a HealthExpress provider for minor illnesses and injuries, including coughs, sore throats and sinus infections.
It’s simple to start an on-demand visit. Log in to MyScripps and select On-Demand Video Visit. You’ll be matched with the next available provider, often within minutes. No appointment is necessary. If you don’t need same-day care, you can also schedule a future video visit.
Video visits are often used for routine care, minor illnesses and injuries, follow-up questions and medication refills. During the visit, your provider can review your medical record, discuss symptoms, recommend treatment and send prescriptions.
Schedule in-person appointments online
If you prefer or need an in-person visit with your primary care doctor, you can make an appointment through MyScripps from the comfort of your home. You can choose the type of appointment you need, such as an annual preventive exam, sick visit or follow-up care after an urgent care visit. Then select a date and time that works for you.
Manage bills and payments with MyScripps
Autopay is also available through MyScripps. Patients can enable or disable the feature, to make managing payments easier.
“The MyScripps app has really changed the way patients interact with their healthcare, and we’re continually improving it, adding features and expanding,” says Dr. Wetherhold. “We know not everything can be done on the app, but our goal is to make it more convenient for our patients who choose to handle things that way. It’s easy to use, and it’s consistent.”
