Support groups provide a safe environment where cancer patients can talk about living with cancer with others that may be having similar experiences. Support groups give people a chance to ease fears and share strengths. Scripps offers a number of support groups to help you:
- Maintain a positive attitude and take an active role in the recovery process
- Cope with chemotherapy, radiation therapy and the side effects of treatment
- Talk about cancer to family members, friends and co-workers
- Deal effectively with doctors and hospitals
- Regain a sense of control
- Maximize your potential for healing

This support group is for breast cancer patients ages 40 and under.
